What is Homoeopathy? The term, homeopathy, comes from the Greek words homeo, meaning similar and pathos meaning suffering or disease. Homoeopathy is a system of medicine developed in the 18th century by Dr Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann, who found out the theory of “like cures like". In homeopathy, this is called The Law of Similar. A remedy can cure a disease if, in its crude state, it produces symptoms, which are similar to those of the disease,” explained based on healthy human proving and revealed that the medical substance that can cause a reaction in the human body can be made effective for that disease.
A human body works on an organised rhythmic wave with a well energised vital force. As we have experienced, the living being is an incredible organism that will go beyond its limits to protect itself and survive. A fever, inflammation, cough, diarrhoea or discharges indicate a body's own way of fighting against that infection. Homoeopathy is a medical approach that respects the wisdom of the body and remedies given in minute doses give a push start to the vital force in the same direction to get rid of that illness from the root instead of suppressing that disease to the internal organs. When the disrupting source is stronger, the relative disturbance produced to the human system is significant and then body cannot manage to recover on its own and sickness surfaces in the form of sign and symptoms. Here, our body needs an external force which will aid the body mechanism to recover and homoeopathy exactly does that; it strengthens the immune system and helps the system to recover faster.
Every person living in this world is different in their attitudes lifestyles, diet, likes, dislikes, height, complexion, mind etc. This may even differ in their symptoms.Taking a general case of headache some will be having....

When some people like to have a tea, others will be relieved by an icepack or heating pad. Thus every individual and every symptom is different but most of the people assume that they need to take any drugs available that relieve headache andget the same next day.Homoeopathy manages here by pulling out the origin/ cause of the disease to help relieve the symptom.
